Whether it is a medical necessity, such as in the case of a mastectomy, or due to conditions like gynecomastia or Paget's disease, our handmade nipple prostheses always provide a suitable solution.

The Paget's disease begins on the nipple or the areola. In the initial stage, there are only minimal changes, such as a small crust or a moist spot that creates a brown dot in the bra or that itches a bit, feels prickly, or burns.

After a successful reconstruction there is often a risk of recurrence or failure with surgical reconstructive nipples. This can lead to disappointment and the necessity to repeat the procedures, which further prolongs the recovery process and sometimes becomes unfeasible for the patient.
It is known that the color of an areola tattoo can fade over time, sometimes after just one year. Regular maintenance treatments to maintain the desired aesthetic result are not always feasible and often involve a lot of pain.

With breast implants the most common complications are infections which require reoperation and/or removal of the implant, resulting in loss of nipple and/or scarring .
